Exceptional Carl Aubock Occasional Table Austriac.1950's Highly sculptural occasional/side table designed by Carl Aubock in Austria c.1950's. This is a very early example marked "Made in Austria" on each leg, with a brass plaque with Aubock's signature attached to the back, and a paper label fixed underneath. The unusually massive volume of the wood balanced on the three gracious brass legs produces a particularly successful and exceptional design. This example of Aubock's work ranks alongside the best of Nakashima from the same period. Condition is entirely original including rubber feet.
